Anonymous asked: A fun little add -on to the gendered items/tampons thing. My Dad, a cis male, buys tampons for himself all the time. He may not use them for what they were intended for, (he's a car and motorcycle mechanic, tampons are great for getting oil out of random nooks and crannies) but use them he does! And he does not borrow my Mom's, he buys his own and has a preference. So, no items are gendered items. They can be used by many people for many purposes! :D
I’m pretty sure they were originally for plugging gunshot wounds, too!
