I honestly hate Vivienne so much. Not even for her beliefs, but for her character. Like, it feels like they were trying to go for the “high-class dilletante, effortlessly managing to horribly diss you with grace and tact,” except she isn’t actually graceful or tactful. She isn’t some beautiful lioness, she’s just an asshole.
The DA team said before the game was out that they wanted to have companions that people might actually hate instead of just not use because it’s more realistic that in that kind of situation that not everyone would get along. So on that hand they succeeded, but at least she invokes some kind of emotion, unlike certain other BioWare companions…

To be entirely honest anyone who doesn’t like her is gross and blind and I don’t want to associate with those people.
Agreed. And I love how people accuse her of being classist (which she is nonetheless) and yet almost if not every. Single. Noble and/or human character shows some form of classism. Yet the only black woman we see in DA nobility is called this.
