I live in the area and super arcade was the most run down spot of the entire area.

Its on prime real estate though, its across the street from a college campus and just another street down from another major university.

It could be more of a flip on the property more than anything, ill maintain a positive outlook on this as long as its a significant upgrade where the new location is going to be.

EDIT:

Unless super arcade moves from its current spot to that corner lot closer to jack in the box thats fucking huge, then that would be sweet.

If its a shitty downgrade (smaller, shitty neighborhood, requires more money)then im gonna be pissed.

Yeah I used to go when I lived closer in the 909. Definitely with Mt.Sac and CPP it's pretty much as prime location as you can get for an arcade in socal. Maybe the only other spot would be at Diamond Jamboree in Irvine for close proximity to UCI along with just being in that busy ass plaza. That would actually be amazing now that I think about it, might be bias since I live in Irvine though.

there is actually a reason behind this and ill give you a brief rundown. the original stage maker did take off with my deposit so i had to hire someone else to do the job. after the first debacle i decided i needed someone to do the job onsite and it had to be done on a monday and tuesday. the schedule was conflicting and this was still in the works. cost of the stage was roughly 2200 in parts and labor fwiw. as far as the plague i received many emails from backers requesting changes so i was very accommodating to all this. incase you didnt know the process, plagues are basically just a big board with a bunch of metal tags nailed onto it. i have already paid for all of this but the tags have not been mounted yet due to changes being made.

He tries to tell people they don't understand what running a business is like, and that he makes all these decisions for the good of the business despite the fact that he doesn't understand how to make smart decisions himself.

He got swindled by the trades because of a lack of due diligence on who reputable tradesman in the area are. He also renovated a unit on a triple net lease knowing he couldn't stay above water there. Proceeds to get forced out almost immediately after the reno. Also manages to torpedo WNF, the only reason people really give a shit that his arcade still exists.

He's making it sound like his rent their is OUTRAGEOUS compared to what it will be. If that's the case why didn't he use that money to FIX A NEW PLACE UP TO BEGIN WITH? He already admitted his lease agreement was MONTH TO MONTH at that point. What a fuck up.

The guy is definitely flying by the seat of his pants. When he gets angry (which is all the time), he burns bridges and blames other people. The more he writes about his day to day operations at SA the more incompetent he seems.

    Why do all of you guys want him to keep super at the same place with over priced rent instead of moving to a cheaper place so that super can sustain and we could all have a local offline venue to hang out at? I'd rather see it move to a cheaper location so that it doesn't always have to titter on the brink of collapsing. I don't know, thats just me though. I'm sure most of the guys complaining aren't even local.

    yo watts u probably thot of this already but since its a lease do u think u can seek compensation from landlord for bathroom remodel? seems unfair that the next tenant will benefit from your time money and effort.
