            The mental image of any surgery is pretty gross. I wouldn't want to watch the procedure (or any such procedure), but when they're walking around on the street there is nothing my senses perceive that I have any reason to take issue with. The "gross" reaction did not even occur until the trans thing was pointed out later.

            Being grossed out by the procedure is one thing, being grossed out by the person is another entirely.
