ISAK is a fully-residential international high school located in Karuizawa (one of Japan’s premier mountain resort areas). ISAK’s core mission is to foster youth who are respectful of diversity and passionate about taking action in service of others. Our aim is to build bridges among motivated students from diverse countries and cultures, and create young leaders in the Asia-Pacific region and around the world who can serve as catalysts for positive change. ISAK has been approved as a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, and is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. We are also holding discussions with the United World College (UWC) network to consider a potential partnership, reflecting our shared goals of diversity, service and action.
