Anyone who thinks she's "blaming" Bianca I don't think is understanding what she's saying...She didn't word it in the best way, but Ganja has been positing a lot lately about learning to laugh at herself. I think that's the revelation here--not that Bianca turned her to alcohol, but her reaction to other people's opinion of her did. The self-improvement quest she's been on has more to do with learning to laugh at herself and becoming more confident so other people's opinion don't affect her as much than trying to change other's opinions.

THANK YOU!!! I feel like people just have it in for Ganj and think that making the funniest Laganja quip will be the easiest laugh.

I get that she's ridiculous and some of the shit she does is worthy or ridicule, my flair is an example, but there's a time and a place, and someone coming out as an addict doesn't need to be scrutinised or turned into a joke. People have said she needs to calm down and examine herself, but when she does it that people criticise her for not doing it in the way they like.

And even if she's faking it, or exaggerating (which is really not anyone here's place to speculate) alcoholism is an illness which disproportionately affects LGBT people. There WILL be people in this subreddit who are struggling with it reading these comments and are seeing people treating it as a big joke.

Anyway, thanks for being a decent person in this thread, I felt like I was losing my mind reading this, especially since this place has been priding itself on being able to "tell the difference between shade and hate" in the wake of the nastiness the MTQs reveal has wrought.

amen, my friend. I think people are misunderstanding what Laganja is saying as anti-Bianca, and Lord knows that anything against Bianca on here is blasphemous. That's not what Ganja is saying at all--she's saying that she's changing how she responds to other people, not how other people respond to her.

You can't look at Laganja on Season 6 and think that's a healthy person. As someone with bad anxiety that has negatively impacted me and held me back from things my whole life, I did not find Ganja's meltdown funny at all, because it was too familiar. Same with when she and Adore watched the footage later on--there is such a divide in how Adore handles it and how Laganja handles it. Laganja clearly was suffering from some kind of panic disorder, which could be alcohol-inflicted.

I am very happy that Laganja has decided to take a different approach to life. Good for her.

I did not find Ganja's meltdown funny at all, because it was too familiar.

It's interesting how people ALWAYS eventually reveal their ACTUAL issues and bias.

You've been criticizing Bianca for AGES for her actions towards Laganja as if she had no right to stick up for HERSELF on that same national broadcast.

But your REAL issue is identifying with Laganja and has nothing to do with Bianca and the fact that she's "fifteen years older".

If you can't play with grown ups - don't try it.

You don't need to empathize with Laganja's meltdown to feel that Bianca provoked her.

No need to start throwing out personal attacks and referencing comment histories because someone admits they have anxiety.

seriously! Also I'm a big fan of Bianca.

Paleho is funny, but sometimes I worry about the fact that s/he seems to go through my comment history gathering personal information to make personal attacks against me for over two years. That's kinda scary. I'd rather not be killed by a crazy Jinkx fanatic one day in my sleep.

Wow, you're rude and personal today, Paleho! I love Bianca and think that she handled the situation badly. Did you know you can like people and not always agree with them? That's called maturity, henny. PS-You know what's not mature? Stalking me on the internet and keeping track of personal things about me for 2 years.
