Why are Romania in the EU again?

inb4 'to send our gypsies to the UK', they are literally, already, everywhere.

So third world. And we're supposed to be OK with this since we're both "EU" and therefore share some kind of cultural affinity/shared history? Yeah, right.

Why is northern England in the UK again? Because it's the United Kingdom yeah and you're supposed to be OK with poor people in your country.

The EU was born out of ideology, it speaks volumes on the western countries when they're for it when it's convenient and against it when it's not.

EU is supposed to create a united Europe. It is supposed to better the lives of everybody living in it. Yes my country and Romania are many times worse than your country but with the EU's help we can improve. And with us getting better and richer so will the rest of the EU. Do we want the gypsies? No. Can we make them law abiding citizens? Unfortunately it will either not happen or it will take a long long time and a lot of money. We are not the ones sending them over. They are not apart of our countries so how can you blame us for something we cant control. Did you blame Iceland for their volcanoes erupting? Maybe you should stop being a dick and think before you talk out of your ass. ( btw good job being born so you can judge us on being born)

Yes my country and Romania are many times worse than your country but with the EU's help we can improve.

I doubt that. Our politicians are too incompetent and corrupt to actually use the EU money properly. As for the next generation argument, I think the next generation will not be better. Instead, I think they will corrupt EU politicians and it will be for the worst, for everyone.

Countries that have freed themselves from corruption didn't do it by joining a supranational political and trade bloc. It takes fucking centuries .. it's like democracy, you cannot just import it and expect things to be better within a generation. Corruption is a cancer and is as much a cultural problem than anything else. All your clever and educated people will leave to the EU, how are you going to stop that?
