Not at all. The problem begins when the person writing the mod mail assumes that doing so will automatically mean that the post will get reinstated/they'll get unbanned/they'll get someone else banned.

There have been several times where we have reinstated posts and unbanned people after a word or two.

If we didn't care about what people think, this feedback thread and the one before wouldn't have happened. Take a look at both of them and observe that almost all the suggestions have been implemented. If we wanted to run a fiefdom nothing would stop us from banning every dissenting voice. Your comment would simply not exist, nor would any other comment bitching about us in this thread. I simply can't fathom why no one gets this.

And considering the last exchange you had with the team where the back and forth happened for several messages and much verbiage, I'm amazed you'd feel this way.
