I’ve taken down the post re origins of Black Friday because it may or may not be true. The “official” story is that it is about retailers losing money (being red) the rest of the year and then profiting during this day, but I have no idea if that is true either.

We all were taught to support oppression. The dominant paradigm is literally “what’s right.”

White folks, please don’t share pictures of black folks hugging cops. Doing so reinforces the idea that cops are safe for everyone. COPS ARE ONLY SAFE FOR YALL.

Black lives are more important than White feelings.

Staying home for the next few days as I have a cold. Sigh.

#BlackLivesMatter is about ALL intersections and identities in the context of Blackness. There is absolutely no need to say #AllLivesMatter - we know. There is absolutely no need to say #TransLivesMatter - there are Black trans people.

I deleted someone OFF my Facebook for decontextualizing #BlackLivesMatter into #AllLivesMatter and #TransLivesMatter. Don’t fucking do that or off my Facebook you go.
