Protesting what? Their posts seem to be about people caring more about balloons than a black man's life, but that doesn't really make sense.

I assume they want to protest against the parade because they think that the absence of a big holiday staple like that will draw attention to them/their views. Also in a more cynical view, it's just because the parade is happening and they want to protest against something current.

now that the grand jury has come back, the ballistics report have been released, Brown's 'eye-witness' friend has been totally discredited, and no charges will be pressed, the Ferguson protestors are going to have a difficult time trying to stay current.

All they've accomplished was 12 arson fires, destroyed a church, and looted a gas station. Way to stick it to the man. everyone knows the real oppressor of that community was Quicktrip.

Mike Brown's eyewitness friend was not discredited, and the arson and looting was mainly perpetrated by people unassociated with the protesters, mostly white people in fact. If you think people are "destroying their own communities" you're a moron.

Oh also, semi related: turns out one of the witnesses that testified claiming she saw Mike Brown charge, and keep charging, at Darren Wilson:

1 Started a Darren Wilson fundraiser support group

2 Wrote this on her Facebook “they need to kill the fucking niggers. It is like an ape fest, and then, it just, it is just not right. It is just not right.” And went on to say "so I put my, focused my energy into with a couple of Wilson supporters and we made… and we have been collecting donations and we have schools making homemade Christmas cards.”

3 And when this witness asks one of McCulloch’s assistant lawyers “does it sound with my language and my behavior that I am racist?”, the prosecutor replies “honestly, no, but that’s okay. You were going to see an African-American friend, you said a very good friend?”

4 Claims to remember Mike Brown’s “charging” in detail yet can’t remember if Darren Wilson was wearing shorts or long pants?

5 Claims to have exited the scene via an exit that does not exist.

6 Lives “right next door to several county officers”.

You've just stated NONE of the witness were discredited. you then proceed to discredit a witness. next time the elections come up, go ahead and sit this one out.
