Let's just hope, that the children of same-sex families will be taught both male role and female role...

What does that even mean?

There is no 'human' on this planet. Only males and females.

Presence of both roles is important for young child (esp. under 6 years - see alpha rhythm) development.

Children raised by non-heterosexual parents are placed at risk. They are more apt to experience gender and sexual confusion; they are more apt to become promiscuous; they are at greater risk of losing a parent to AIDS, substance abuse or suicide. They suffer more depression and other emotional difficulties. They are also more likely to engage in same-sex behavior.

I have nothing against homosexuality - i think homosexuals should be treated equally as any other human individual, but it's still a sexual disorder and children should be aware of that.

Psychologist checking in, I must agree. The effects of same sex parenting on the development of children is still unclear. Most of the studies that have been published on the issue are extremely bias and have a clear agenda to make same sex parenting not appear different to normal parenting (things like comparing a wealthy lesbian couple to an incapable hetero couple).

But sadly on Reddit, this will be interpreted as homophobic and downvoted to oblivion by SJWs.

Thank you. I know that this is very unpopular opinion, so I'm happy someone else sees problems this could bring to society as a whole.

As a fellow psychologist I should insist you hand your degree back to whatever diploma mill you got it from. We really do not need any more quacks tarnishing the profession.

Well. I think it's a matter that you, and people like you, will instantly throw away these studies under the basis that they are 'bias'. What actual problem could you foresee happening if two men or two women raised a child and did so in the same manner as a man/woman? I don't get your line of reasoning. Wouldn't a single-parent have the same 'issue' with raising a child since they lack an (X) role-model? I think the general implication that you mean to convey is that only a man and a woman can properly raise a child, which, until proven, just seems baseless.

People like me.. how ironic. It's funny because you are instantly dismissive of what I said, I doubt you've even looked at any research on the matter. That's probably why you don't get it.

Then link me to the research, if it isn't from catholic.com, I'd be happy to read up on it. I just doubt that it's legitimate. It's not ironic, as you're the one who mentioned "Most of the studies that have been published on the issue are extremely bias and have a clear agenda to make same sex parenting not appear different to normal parenting (things like comparing a wealthy lesbian couple to an incapable hetero couple)." I was rebutting that statement, not making my own.
