I am writing my college sociology thesis specifically on the differences (biases) between CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC's coverage on the verdict of this case. Interestingly, Fox News has not shown an ounce of pre-verdict coverage on this while CNN has been camped out in Ferguson for the last week -- it almost sounds like something from a South Park episode:

"Tom, I am standing here in Ferguson where still no verdict has been delivered. We think its coming soon, but we just can't really tell. It seems much like a normal day here in Ferguson on a Tuesday afternoon at 3pm, but tensions are likely very high. The verdict will in fact be released eventually, and we will be the first on the scene to cover what we hope are life threatening riots for your viewing pleasure -- Tom, back to you."

My opinion on the ruling is [was] to side with the grand jury from the very beginning. They have access to the evidence and I do not. I am glad to see the judicial process run its course, and hope that nobody is hurt (cops or protestors) from this resulting decision.
