くまのプーさん、出入り禁止にすべき ポーランド地方議員
ポーランドの地方議員が、「くまのプーさん」を公園などに出入り禁止にすべきと提案した。上着しか着ていないような露出度の高い格好であり、性別も不明ということが理由だという。11月22日、ABCなどが報じた。
この提案は、ポーランド中部のTuszynという町の非公開の町議会で出たものだ。この日の議会では、公園の新しい支援キャラクターをどれするかということが議論になっていた。その中でくまのプーさんというアイデアが出た際に、反対意見として提案されたのだという。
リークされた議会情報によると、Ryszard Cichy議員がプーさんの格好が完全ではないと非難。「半裸なので子供たちのために良くない。(プーさんは)パンツを履いていない。というのも、性別がないのだ。両性具有なのだ。」と述べたという。
さらにHanna Jachimska議員は、プーさんの作者であるA.A.ミルン氏について「この作者は60歳になったとき、彼(プーさん)の睾丸をカミソリで削ぎ落とした。というのも、プーさんのアイデンティティに問題があったからだ」となじった。
これらの議員はポーランドのクマのキャラクター「Uszatek」とプーさんを比較。Uszatekはつま先までしっかりと服を着ているので、こちらを使うべきだと提言した。
Cichy議員は後日、「長い議論を終わらせるために言ったジョークだ」と弁明した。支援キャラクターもまだ、決まっていない状況だという。
