Claim: Elizabeth Warren claimed to be a Cherokee on an application to University of Pennsylvania and Harvard. This is true. It's also true that this claim has not been proven (and would be difficult to prove)
What's untrue is the very obvious implication that she got the job because of said ancestry claim. And the implication that since she has a fancy mansion (because fuck rich people, ammirite??) she can't be native is, well, "'tarded", as the 'ol sports champ used to say.
Of course, the claim of the value of her home is also a lie. She purchased it for 447k back in 95, and it's now "worth" less than half of the claimed 5.4 million.
But what's a little doubling of your claimed figure when maymay's are at play?
And of course, the real outrage is supposed to be that since she lives in a fancy mansion, that she can't point out that the system is rigged for the rich. Because knowing this and being rich makes her? Wrong? A hypocrite?
Okay, then great, make the argument that she's a hypocrite for being rich and yet being critical of the rich, but the addition of the 'native' ancestry is clearly racially tinged. We're supposed to believe, without question, that she was a rich person who 'rigged the system' herself by claiming to be a native, despite not a shred of evidence that this claim ever aided her in any way. No evidence, accept, of course, the Oprssed White Man complex that knows that all them minorities gots systemic advantages.
So we're supposed to believe that this successful, accomplished person only achieved that success and accomplishment by claiming to be a native. Got it?
