Okay, for starters…

1. What you just posted has nothing to do with the image.  The image is referring to the fact that Brianna Wu was caught red-handed as having sent death threats to herself, and refuses to show anything that may prove otherwise.  This also goes hand-in-hand with the numerous instances of completely made-up bullshit that floats around on this site that later ends up being completely disproven, such as the alleged case of the little girl in Georgia sexually assaulted on the playground:  Not only was it a lie (which even the blog owner later admitted to), but it has since been found that the blog it originated from was a troll blog to begin with.
   
   People have a right to be wary of the claims of women, just as much as they have a right to be wary of the claims of ANYONE, regardless of gender.  It has nothing to do with “sexism” or “misogyny”, as much as the fact that being a woman (as designated at birth, or otherwise) is not an excuse for facing the consequences of one’s actions, nor an excuse to avoid VALIDATING ONE’S CLAIMS.  And, as a woman, I’m frankly not at all happy about people having to BE more wary of women these days, simply because some women have decided to abuse the term of “feminism” as a vehicle through which to demand unnecessary changes on the grounds of little more than glorified fear mongering and propaganda.
   
   
2. As cruel as this may sound, you have zero jurisdiction over what other people are “allowed” to joke or talk about.  Yes, you can tell someone to stop, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen.  One of these days, you’re going to have to learn to ignore things that bother you, or simply remove yourself from that situation, because real life does not have an “ignore” feature.  The best thing you can do for yourself is to just get up, and walk away.  You leave what is bothering you behind you, and hopefully, that may also get the message across that you don’t wish to hear what they’re saying.
   
   If we tried to sanitize the world of everything that someone, somewhere, deemed “offensive”, or anything that made them “uncomfortable”, there would likely be no world left to live in.  There are even people in this world genuinely afraid of the depth marker lines painted on the bottom of swimming pools.  I’m incredibly uncomfortable around large dogs, but you don’t see me going around screaming at dog owners to put their pets to sleep.  What happened to you is a travesty that cannot be undone, but you must understand that you share this earth with over 7 billion other human beings, and they are all different than you.  This includes people that use humor as a coping mechanism, in order to alleviate the fear they have.  If you can joke about something, you strip it of the power to control you, and determine how you live your life.

Bad things happen, and they often happen to good people.  Hell, my older sister literally exists BECAUSE of rape.  However, we simply cannot be trying to determine how other human beings are able to express themselves.  Hurt feelings are not justification for such censorship.  Our rights do NOT end where your feelings begin.  Constitutional rights exist BECAUSE of feelings.  Rights exist in order to keep feelings from interfering with life, liberty, and LAW.

When we see people say things such as “Your rights end where my feelings begin”, it is the first step towards going back to a time where people could be put to death simply because their neighbor accused them of witchcraft.
