Nothing frustrates me more, except maybe the phrase "God is good".

People like to say "God is good" when they get a job or something mundane, meanwhile there are children dying of starvation every single day in staggering numbers. I just want to slap these people sometimes.

Your example is better than mine, But I absolutely hate it when people attribute success to "god given talent"

I'm a big sports fan and I hear it all the time, "god blessed you with these abilities" or whatever. It COMPLETELY takes out all of the hard work,pain, and sacrifice that these people did to get where they are.

Ditto my friend. As a big sports fan myself, my even bigger pet peeve is during post-game interviews when asked about the game so many players on the winning side like to thank God for the outcome.

Like "God" really gives two shits about who wins the Superbowl...
