Anonymous asked: Me again. I think it's worth pointing out that being skinny doesn't automatically make you healthy, and being a little heavier doesn't necessarily mean you're unhealthy. So saying healthy is hot, but you wouldn't date a fat girl, doesn't entirely add up.

You are correct. It was a general statement. Generally speaking, a skinny girl is healthier than a fat one.

But saying healthy is hot and not dating fat girls does add up. It’s pretty tough to consider yourself healthy of you’re fat. I train people as a job—90% of the people I train are overweight/obese ladies. Right now, being overweight/obese may not seem like a big issue because we’re young. But this youthfulness that we have doesn’t last forever. It catches up, quickly. They have problems that I have never even THOUGHT about. Have you ever been worried about how you’re going to be able to physically roll out of bed in the morning? I’ve taken that for granted. These ladies can’t do these every day tasks. It’s bad.

Here’s the thing. If being big truly was beautiful, people wouldn’t have to convince others to believe it.

That’s just my two cents.

Dude. What the actual fuck like what the fuck?? “Generally speaking”?? Uhh no. Like size has NOTHING to do with health. Food, yeah okay sure. Food can correlate with someone’s overall body fat, but the kinds of food they take in and the kinds of fat they store makes a significant difference. But regardless to whether you’re a size 2 or 16, you can still have the same amount of food intake and exercise regime, depending on your metabolism and how your body stores fat, and you can still be the same amount of healthy or unhealthy because of the food your body is running on.
It’s actually not hard AT ALL to consider yourself healthy if you’re fat. It’s pretty common, regardless of the people that you run into.
Chances are, that people that are coming to you to train, are coming to you because they want help. Because they don’t have a regular routine themselves. Because they’ve lived a particular lifestyle that they want to change. But they are NOT the only fat people that work out and there are a lot of people that regardless of their food intake and their workouts, their body likes to stay at a particular weight and build.
Being overweight doesn’t lead to health problems that food intake or hereditary lineage can. And so often people that are considered over weight are dismissed when it comes to medical problems BECAUSE of their weight, as if losing weight will magically make their problems go away but it won’t. Changing a lifestyle may but weight will not.
Skinny does not equal healthy. Fat does not equal unhealthy.
Skinny equals skinny. Fat equals fat.
Healthy equals healthy. Unhealthy equals unhealthy.
Big is beautiful. Skinny being the only beautiful is nothing but a stupid fucking social construct brought on through fashion industries and being skinny has only been a major beauty standard since like the 50s/60s.
I don’t even know what the fuck all to say about this. Wtf
