white people are always appropriating our cultures and our images and calling it “honoring” our cultures but meanwhile it’s like well if you honor us so much how come our police racial profiling is still going on, how come Native American women face some of the highest rates of sexual assault, how come Asian women are still being fetishized and objectified (and brought over as sex objects) like wtf seriously what are you honoring here because we’ve told you what we want and need and you’re still not giving it.

It’s sort of like somebody asking you “what do you want to eat” and you’re like “OK I’d like some rice and beans please” and they’re like “here have this bowl of candy corn for dinner” and when you’re like “this isn’t what I wanted or needed no thanks” they’re like “BUT I MADE THIS SHITTY THING FOR YOU I’M HONORING YOU ENJOY IT NAAOW”
