That is NOT OCD. Stop trivialising the term. It kills people.

YOU ARE LITERALLY KILLING PEOPLE BY TYPING WORDS

Would you joke about an illness or find a similar joke funny if you'd lost people to it and gone through it yourself? OCD is no different. It's become such a commonly abused term that many people wouldn't think much of it if they heard someone had it. It's a step back in the campaign to raise awareness for mental health, but people just don't realise it.

You might find it funny, think 'it's just a joke', but think about the families of those who have taken their own lives due to OCD, and think about how they might feel hearing jokes about it.

There's someone behind every screen. Abusing terms that have ruined so many lives? Yeah, just a joke, think nothing of it.

You are literally killing me with your privilege.

If a beloved family member of yours suddenly died of cancer, and you saw people throwing the term 'Cancer' around as if it didn't mean anything and people could justify their use of it with 'everyone else does it', would you be insulting and mocking others who have been through what you've been through?

It's called sympathy. It's called having a sense of morality and not being a dick. It's not called 'privilege checking'.

Not usually from seeing some reference OCD on the internet, but you're well on your way to an aneurism.

Everyone dies, yes. And everyone who knows the deceased has feelings.
