Hello,

This is going to be a little bit controversial and is more than likely going to cause myself and others a few headaches. A lot of what is going to follow has been known by many for quite some time but this might help prove certain truths, answer questions and create even more questions.

Quick background

The first big drama I was in close proximity to was Peter5930's supplying of Bloodcrew. It was an interesting period for me trying to understand his motives as they became public and look on at the collapse of Aurora and the eventual raid on Commonwealth. Ultimately Peter surrendered his pearls and has become less active on Civcraft. In this post here I left Commonwealth having found myself out of my depth.

I moved to Wander in the plus plus while at the same time becoming more active in the Nexus mumble where I was invited to hang out by akn429. During the events of Recharge there were careful efforts made by the Nexus core not to give out information. I was not privy to conversations between River's End people and Nexus citizens. It was a quiet time for me as I retired from the HCF/ Civcrfat side drama and was content being a bit clueless in the Plus Plus. However once New Danzilona was attacked and ranusavalehart of Wander was pearled I began questioning their motives. I asked Nexus in this post to call it a day to no avail. I was pearled by Noaz on Ron_The_Racoon but was immediately released due to my affiliation with Nexus. That Nexus did not know Rivers End were going to go pearling the server is false. I said that in the future I would work against HCF collaboration.

Nexus is now "reformed" as Vale. I argued with ranusavalehart in Wander that Nexus was dead and gone and that we should open our arms to Vale. Stratmatt was kicked out of Wander after doing some shit with Bees. After some frankly awkward conversations with my Wander friends I convinced them to give these guys a second chance. I was granted citizenship of Vale after 9 or so months of being in their mumble. Naturally I felt like a idiot when I learned of Vale involvement with America. I was idiot to believe in their reform and they were wrong to get pissy for getting kicked from an anti-griefing and raiding organisation. Pathetic.

America and other Information

Although many Vale members went inactive and quit - I learned of Stratmatt, Jakemeister and MtFlushmore's involvement in America. The vault coords were fairly public and I arrived after Stratmatt assured me I would be ok. I immediately began laying a pretty extensive snitch network around their vault and bunkers. The "10.6vault" snitches were all laid by me apart from a few in Prole.

My account is Waldorf88 and it was purposefully not added to the network. Some people were informed so they wouldn't cause a fuss. Only colincoolguy messaged me asking what was I doing. I was given access to the various teamspeaks after delivering materials. All of this time I maintained constant contact with Cameleopard. He was kept aware of events as soon as I was aware of them.

I didn't expect America to fall so quickly. Even if their group aren't pearled we are a long way from what could have happened had the group not split. So I was surprised to come home and read all the recent posts after I was away with friends.

Jake and Flush moved supplies to America via a rail they built from Vale to Carbon, then via a private Carbon to Titan rail that connected to the Zixuza-Xiphias line. I added them to the rail snitches so they could travel undected but they were removed shorty after. A tunnel extending to Prole and Zixuza party built by Jake was entirely snitched by me.

Why Have I Done This?

Fuck bringing in people to mess with the server for the sake of it. It's a big community with a wide range of characters and it's the good guys who usually mind their own business who get fucked over because of other people's childish problems.

I haven't spent all my time being a shady asshole taking screens and recording so if you have questions I might be able to clear up then ask away.

At the end of the day I couldn't prevent events as they unfolded but hopefully some of this can be used to punish those who tried to screw us over and prevent some of the same things happening again in the future. You might as well go back to calling Nexus... Nexus now.

EDIT: Not a personal vendetta. I snitched up a griefer/raider base. I did my best to provide information on that group. People were informed about the Orion break 12 hours beforehand. People were informed that there was rift in the group and pearls were bring moved. I believe that this invader cycle can ultimately be culled with the aggressive eradication of Civcraft side support which is a long way from how I thought about such things last year. I made a difficult decision months ago about how to best go about dealing with a future invasion and this involved information gathering at the source.
