I don't want some stranger talking to my grade 3 kid about homosexuality, my grade 6 kid about masturbation, or my grade 7 kid about anal sex.

It think that's my job as a parent, and it's totally inappropriate for someone else to do so.

Then homeschool your kids.

So you don't want your grade 3 kid knowing that men and women sometimes, y'know, fall in love with the same sex? Or do you just mean you don't want them learning about homosexual sex?

Better the teacher than a random classmate.

The thing is, if parents were doing it then the schools would not have to.

uhh, not sure if you actually have kids but that stranger, as in your kid's teacher, as in the person you trust to care for and educate that kid for like 35% of their waking hours 10 months of the year can probably handle it. They even went to school specifically to learn how to teach. Plenty of parents spend less time with their own kid. A teacher is one of the most important adults in most kids' lives.
