Hello, readers. We realise that it is a bit late for us to be posting at this time of night, or day, wherever you may be sitting, but something has come up and we must take the time to inform you. Thanks to The Anti-Plagarism Investigation Reports on fanfiction.net, we’ve found that a user under the name of GirlBehindTheBook has stolen a lovely post by the talented Ms. Poppy Merryweather, and then claimed that we stole it from her. But, the details should be sorted out soon, and now we move on to our next topic.
Plagiarism—it is a horrible thing and unfortunately hurts us writers very dearly. We do not understand why anyone would want to steal then claim we were the thieves, and we are honestly hurt. We realise that you, the readers, enjoy our writing, and will not blame you all. But, it is things like these that could cause fun blogs like thelethifoldwitch, americanwizarding, amortentiafashion, and many others, including WizardHistory, to eventually close or archive itself. We do not intend to archive our writing, but me, as the Head Administrator, could easily see it happening if plagiarism against us, or any HP canon blog is to continue.
So, we will take the time here to say stand up, do not allow things like this to happen. We as both writers and readers are hurt by these sort of things, equally! If you see any blog’s writing being stolen or copied, tell us, or them! With your help, we can help put a stop to plagiarism!
We would like to thank roguemudblood and TAPIR for pointing this out to us, and whoever bugged GirlBehindTheBook about stealing from us. Please, have a wonderful evening.
