Ehh, it really depends. In new-wave feminism (which started in the 90s or so), sex workers are not put down in the same way they were in like the 70s. The main concern is that they are safe and not exploited, but I think in general it's a little give and take: the women (hopefully) choose to do that and men (or women) who pay for their services treat them with respect.

The main problem with ice girls is it's a little exploitative. Like, they aren't doing it for the money (because they are barely paid), so it's likely for the exposure and having it on their resume, I guess? It's kind of weirdly taking advantage of that subset of people. If that's how that sort of thing works (maybe ice girl experience can lead you to some better modeling gigs, I don't even know) then I guess it's "fine" but it still kind of sucks that we can't just pay them a little better.

And nobody is blaming the actual ice girls for all this. The role is very clearly sexualized in a way that makes it difficult to ignore. Ice girls didn't even exist until a few years ago, so it was obviously just done as some kind of draw or something (and if they are an important feature, then why the bad pay?). It's also worth thinking about how they make women fans feel. It's easy to make people feel uncomfortable without them always being able to articulate exactly why and it's usually not worth it. You could have them out there with regular clothes on and nobody would really care. I don't know, it's just kind of odd. I don't have a super strong opinion on ice girls specifically but I think it's worth thinking about.
