Suggest posting this under a different title to make it clear you're talking about revenge porn not other fantasies.

I agree with this. Some BDSM stuff looks and is role-played as non-con but is in fact very consensual.

there is in fact, contrary to anti-pornographer agenda between sexual predators and those to partake on consenting SM/Non-con/simulation.

I hate to be cynical, but this organisation would be like funding the DEA to stop drugs. It's a truly pointless waste of money. It will not work. First thing you'll have to do is get teenagers to stop sending each other nudes. Good luck with that...

Nope, there is fuck all wrong with teenagers sending each other nudes. Where things go wrong are the websites that host the nudes without the subject's consent, and it's perfectly possible to stop these.

And how exactly is the site meant to know that the subject wasn't the one to upload the photo?

Really! First it's censor the internet, now it's censor porn. Fuck this shit.

censor non-consensual porn, aka: cyber-rape. No one is banning porn. Hell I love porn too lol but it's not cool to violate rights of others to say no to having their sexual images and videos plastered all over the net.

The problem is this organization is trying to make a new right, one that is weird and hard to enforce.

Consider this scenario. You are having sexy time with a friend. You allow friend to take a photo of you, while naked or having sexy time. That photograph is owned by the photographer. You, as the subject, do not own the photograph. Preventing the copyright holder from using that photo for whatever non-commercial purpose he or she wants is legally very difficult. There is no plausible legal scenario where an American law would be able to circumvent Federal copyright statue and 1st amendment law, that would not basically break a huge chunk of American jurisprudence. Laws that go down that road are probably unconstitutional and in conflict with existing copyright law.

Other scenarios are easier but still difficult to regulate. If you take a selfie while involved in sexy time with a friend, you own the copyright. If you share it with the partner, electronically, that person is prohibited by copyright from making more copies, unless a fair use exception exists. Let's say that your friend and you are no longer speaking. And your friend wants to do something painful and hurtful. Your friend is protected by fair use if he or she makes a parody or satire of your sexy-time photograph and republishes it.

It is much easier to simply teach people a few simple facts:

a. If you allow a partner to take, or send to that partner, photos, it's impossible to control where they will end up. If you want photos, use your own camera, and don't send them. Let your partner view them only.

b. If you allow another person to take photos of you, presume that will be used for anything, up to including publishing on websites or social media.

That's really it. Just let's start teaching this, and promoting it, and we won't have to break the US legal system making up new, hard to enforce, hard to define, easy to abuse, rights.

For those who are looking for some consensual porn, /r/gonewild is great. They're a little lacking in the male department, but other than that, everything is totally consensual and the mods take pains to ensure that people posting are indeed themselves (to prevent revenge porn and the like). The community is mostly encouraging and sex-positive, and a lot of people have fun with their pictures and even have themes sometimes (one of the top posts is centered around gnomes... quirky!) Check it out!

Just a helpful FYI, if you're looking for men who want to show off you'll have better luck with /r/ladybonersgw and their related subs.

How do they ensure that the pictures posted on there are consensual?

[–]whisperingmoon 7 ポイント8 ポイント  (2子コメント)

People post pictures of themselves with username verification. Hard to be non-consensual if it's a picture of yourself posted by yourself.

I... I guess? But people don't get paid for /r/gonewild posts. If you wanted to engage in violent sexual exploitation of unwilling parties I imagine you'd want to earn some money.
