Tropical cyclone development is not anticipated across the eastern Pacific or the Atlantic Basin on Saturday. In the Atlantic Basin, an area of low pressure will inch eastward across the western Caribbean Sea. This system will usher heavy rain and thunderstorms across the Yucatan Peninsula, Belize, northeast Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, northern Nicaragua, the Cayman Islands and Cuba. A separate area of low pressure will develop roughly halfway between the Bahamas and Bermuda. This system will bring morning rain to the southern tier of the Bahamas, as well as afternoon and evening thunderstorms to Bermuda, the Turks and Caicos Islands, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Meanwhile, scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible across the southwest coast of Mexico, while central and northern Mexico will stay mostly clear of wet weather.
