I like to take inspiration from the horses in Gulliver's Travels, though admittedly I've not read the book but only seen the miniseries with Sam from Cheers that was made twenty years ago. Their accent has a very peculiar feature: it is very slow, purposeful, and with pauses after each person speaks. This allows them to very carefully choose their words as they hold communication with an almost sacred level of respect. Never post a claim without backup.

Past that, I love to read Bradbury, Hemingway, and other authors who were very efficient and eloquent in their speech. Star Trek has many fantastic monologues written and performed by Shakespearean trained artists.

Finally, and I feel this is most important, always do what you can to understand your conversation partner (think not of them as adversaries or opponents for when you do your aim will be to cut them down rather than change their mind). You may not agree with them but by understanding where they are coming from and what their intent is you can better address them from a standpoint they will understand and relate to.
