I know you're just trying to take the criticism in stride, but try not to take it all so personally. I've read all the comments above, and no one is being overly mean. They are simply making valid points about your submission.

I came here from r/all, and I was completely confused by the post. My first thought on the pictures was, "Corn? And rice? How in the world did this win a cook off?"

People work their whole lives to perfect recipes for things like chili, brisket, ribs, gumbo, or what have you. So, when you try to mislead people about winning contests (which is exactly what you did and you know it), you should expect some criticism.
