You use prepackaged taco seasoning and I'm supposed to believe you win competitions? Using the spice (chili powder, cumin, salt, etc) from scratch is how it's really done.

All jokes aside though, I really have no opinion. Good food is good food. Not gonna sit here and critique OP because all we're really doing is critiquing the competition, which OP doesn't decide.

agreed, very little skill involved in dumping pre-made spice mixes and cans of pre-prepared ingredients into a crockpot. Good for you OP, but brag about winning competitions when you actually cook something.

Not sure why you're getting downvoted - fuck the bean argument, using store-bought spice packets for food where the spice pretty much is the important part... in a "competition", of any sort, is disingenuous.

Lol I'm getting down voted because I'm being real. It seems like an informal competition so whatever, but if you're bragging about your award winning chili you gotta come correct. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it is delicious.
