Subreddit Rules
- Submit current flags, historical flags, personal flags, flag news... basically anything related to learning about flags!
- If you know the name of the flag you are submitting, put it in the title. Additionally, please try to include at least one "fun fact" about the flag in the comments.
- When submitting an image, please link to .png (best), .jpg, or .gif files. SVG files are great, but they don't work in every browser and they don't work with the Reddit Enhancement Suite. This is more of a common courtesy than a rule.
- Do not submit memes, image macros, rage comics, verticals, or other fluff content. There are more appropriate subreddits for that sort of thing.
- Mark submissions that would make a restrictive boss angry with the Controversial tag. We don't want anyone getting fired over some flag images.
- User Flair is available just under the subscribe button. There's a bigger flair list in this wiki - follow the instructions there for more flair options.
- Reposts are okay in moderation. Use the search bar!
- Flair your posts, pretty please.
- Be nice! We're here to learn and have fun, not to tear each other apart.

- User flair is available to show off your favourite flag, be it new, old, real, fictional or anything else.
- Common flags are availale just a couple mouse clicks away. Click the (edit) button next to your username underneath just above the Subreddit Rules in this sidebar and choose from one of the more common flags, or...
- We have hundreds more flags available for flair. Our full list is available on the wiki, along with instructions on getting anything off of the list.
- If you still can't find the flag you're looking for, please contact the mods and follow this guide and we will see about adding your flag to the flair list. Don't expect a quick turnaround time, but having a 16px x 11px flag ready to go would certainly help.
