Ordinance Backed X On Slope Density WALNUT CREEK A pro- posed slope density ordinance drafted by the planning com- mission to regulate future hill- side development in the city is to be recommended to the council for adoption. Essentially, it calls for de- creasing density as the slope or grade of the topography in- creases. The planning commission this week also approved a use permit to Astrocopters. Ltd. Explosives Suspect Indicted A Federal Grand Jury in San Francisco has returned a three-count indictment against Steven L. Giddings, 21, of Richmond, in a continuing in- vestigation of the illegal pos- session of explosives. Federal District Judge Spencer Williams yesterday issued a warrant for Giddings' arrest with bail set at Asst-. U.S. Ally. David Ban- croft, who presented the case to the grand jury, said the in- dictment "does not, by any means, end the inquiry." The indictment charges that between March 28 and April 2 of this year Giddings received and concealed 156 sticks of dy- namite and 12 blasting caps. The three counts charge un- lawful possession of stolen ex- plosive materials. Giddings and Linda Rey- nolds, arrested dur- ing a search of a home at 86 Humboldt St. in Richmond, that turned up several sticks of dynamite allegedly stolen in Shasta County. The pair were originally booked on pos- session of marijuana charges. Miss Reynolds currently is on bail pending an appeal on a contempt of court citation issued after she refused to an- swer questions grand jury despite being granted immunity -from prose- cution. What our Customers Say:

"It is amazing how easy and exciting it is to access all of this information! I found hundreds of articles about my relatives from Germany! Well worth the subscription!" - Michael S.

"I love this site. It's interesting to read articles about different family members. I've found articles as well as an obituary about an uncle who passed away before I was born, and another about a great aunt. It's great for helping with genealogy." - Patricia T.

"A great research tool. Allows me to view events and gives me incredible insight into the stories of the past." - Charles S.
