So yeah boxtrolls was transphobic. Way to go laika. Reinforcing the trope that trans women are out to trick you. Are villains. Are lying. From a studio everyone looks at as being progressive and accepting. Fucking gross. If you see this villainization of trans people as acceptable or ‘just part of the plot’ congratulations you are part of the problem
