    You do realize that the "bullshit organic food" etc "craze" has been around for thousands of years, in fact the whole "pesticide, GMO, herbicide, processed, etc" culture we have is relatively brand new.

    Sometimes you can only afford pesticides that aren't objectively worth using. Seems to me the biggest problem is neither seem to be involved in any strong attempt to feed everyone. But either way the'res plenty of land. Especially if you stop feed and shining light on soil you can't eat instead of crops, thus removing the things pesticides remove as well. http://www.verticalfarm.com/
