  • "HIDDEN COLORS STORYING THE BLACK MALE IMAGE." Black male feminizing.

One of the dilemmas that I don’t believe gets enough attention in the fight against racism for Africans is the conspiracy of feminization towards the black man. Now when we talk about the definition of masculinity what do we usually bring up? strength, determination, love etc etc. All quality’s that surely ring true, but in the case of the African man and his fight against the European, all these attributes PLUS some must be vigorously perfected for him and his people to survive in the system of white supremacy where every aspect of our livelihood is under constant threat by the dominant society. Leaving a huge burdened on us no doubt, but all the more reason why leadership in the form of black manhood and masculinity is vital to our future. Few others exemplified it more than greats like Marcus Garvey, Malcolm x, Nat turner, Halie Selassie and so forth. Because even under the ENOURMOUS stresses of their times and lack of resources they forged ahead in the face of death & white supremacy in the attempt to gain freedom & TRUE independence for their people. Something the white man has always been intimidated by and fearful of. So he tries everything in his power to divert that masculine revolutionary energy elsewhere or tries to diminish it completely, in the hopes that you submit to his power & take your oppression up the a$$ literally!

So no matter what, at the end of the day that’s what it takes, cant have revolution without the black male, cant have it without the black female. Both need to be independent from outside sources in mind, body and spirit. With men that will stand up for what he believes in and refuses to conform or compromise with white mainstream society. If we can make strides in these aspects then whose to stop us?
