Miss Coco Peru

Yesterday I posted a picture that I took of the back of a woman’s head that was wearing a braid that to me looked very much like a loaf of Challah Bread. It came to my attention that some people did not find the humor in it and thought that I was cyber bullying. ME! Bullying! After 24 years of speaking out against bullying, I was accused of it. Wow! I guess that I just assumed that people who follow me would know that as a drag queen and comic, and as one who makes observations, it wasn’t my intention to make fun of this woman. As a person who has lived outside the box for years, I celebrate and am drawn to anything different, ridiculous, odd, or over the top. I actually loved this woman’s braid and I loved that it looked like challah bread. I do apologize to those who may have found it insensitive and an invasion of this woman’s privacy, which, although it was the back of her head, I can understand that point. I guess I just thought her braid was so fabulous I had to share it with all of you. So, after 24 years of being an activist, I ask that you GIVE ME A BREAK! L’ chaim! Peace!
