Game of thrones characters face offs

With a huge ensemble cast, a dozen plots running simultaneously and almost 150 characters, Game of thrones has probably the largest fictional setting and George RR Martin has been exceptional in providing us with all the unpredictable plot twists that have always kept us hooked to the tv series. Although the fate for many of the characters on this tv series is already sealed for at least the next two seasons, that won’t stop our imaginations to think beyond the limits that George RR Martin has set for us. What if our favorite game of thrones characters who have never met onscreen would suddenly come face to face? Would there be conflict and bloodshed or the formation of new alliances? Or perhaps we would witness some very interesting conversations given that the tv series has always been known for its great punch lines and dialogues. Below we list down four Game of thrones character faceoffs”, as we try to explore the possible relationships that might nurture between these characters as well as the ways in which they can influence each other’s life.

1)Daenerys Tragereyn vs Cersei lannister

Deanerys is an ideal ruler, merciful to the suppressed ones while rigid and stringent to the oppressors at the same time. Cersei on the other hand is just ruthless and bitter and we have not seen her caring for anyone other than for her twin brother and children. There is certainly great room of conflict between these two powerful female characters, as Lannisters now hold power to the throne once held by Targeryens. Cersei would certainly see Deanerys as a threat to her family and everything she holds dear and therefore would direct all her attention in eliminating the threat posed by Deanerys and we all know how fatal can Cersei’s conspiracies prove to be. However Deanerys too can never be underestimated, she has slayed almost everyone who has stood in her way and now commands an army of unsullied , not to forget the dragons. She has the ability to retaliate in the most aggressive way imaginable to all the efforts made by Cersei. Among all female characters on game of thrones, both these women are the most powerful ones and watching them against each other would truly be a nail biting sequence.

2)Joffrey Baratheon vs Ramsay Snow

These characters top the list of all game of throne characters that we love to hate. We can expect both Joffrey and Ramsey to get along with each other quite well, not only because their houses have remained in an alliance against the Starks but because they have quite a lot in common.They have the same brutal and ruthless nature and have tortured countless helpless people around them. But then their evil and sadistic nature is why they are not known for making friends. In case we get to see them as rivals, we can well imagine all the horrible things they can do to each other. Perhaps we might get to see a showdown between these two where they might compete for the title of the most evil man in Westeros. Which would allow both Joffrey and Ramsey to display their talents for torturing people in the most brutal and barbaric way! Whether as friends against everyone or rivals against each other bloodshed is the only possibility one can expect from this face off.

3)The white walkers vs Dragons

While they are not exactly characters from game of thrones but just imagine how epic a battle would be between these two supernatural species. Further adding to the excitement is the fact that they have totally opposite supernatural abilities, while the white walkers’ supernatural powers relate to ice and cold as their mere presence leads to the fall in temperature, the dragons breath fire and can turn anything into ashes. Probably there is already a connection as the title itself suggests “ A song of ice and fire”. Though we won’t spoil anything for you but there are already some fan theories that link dragons and white walkers in the most craziest way imaginable.

4)Khal drogo vs The Hound 

Everyone loves a death match especially when its an unpredictable one and in which the opponents are equally talented and competent.Therefore we would like to see Khal Drogo and Sandor Clegane against each other in a single man to man combat. Both of  them are strong men who have the ability to crush their opponent’s bones in a single attempt. They both are fearless, well trained warriors with hands on experience in battles and wars. Killing people is what they enjoy and the sight of blood is what makes them smile. While Khal drogo is known to never have been defeated by anyone in combat, the hound is the only suitable opponent that can match the strength and agility of Khal drogo. This face off would result in the survival of only one, while a gruesome death remains the only possibility left.
