Let me start off by saying, I don't really participate in FDF, but I do know it's 'important' to some people, anyways:

What if.... People don't want to forcefully have their minds changed? I mean, it's obvious most if not all people besides you are against this change. Why force it? What will one month difference make? It's not like everybody will suddenly be like "Oh! It's been one month, I hate sex and sexy things now!"... It is pretty clear to everybody that the community as a whole wants it, so why remove it? It's basically like removing upvotes and downvotes from Reddit. No sane person would ever do that.

It's like that old meme once said, stop trying to make it happen, it's not gonna happen. I get that change is sometimes good, but taking the good out of something for the sake of change is not how to change something for the better. Also I'm pretty sure you know full well that at the end of the month, everyone's gonna feel exactly the same way they feel right now, only a little more annoyed at you, if not all/most of the mods. What happens at the end of the month? People still want it back and you guys just say no? Or maybe we'll try it for one more month, or even one more year, just to see how it goes.
