When you pay close attention, it’s astounding how much of Reddit’s solipsism and concomitant shitty opinions can be traced to projection, which goes double for the hate groups claiming that they’re speaking for a silent majority who don’t want to be fired or publically humiliated and refrain from speaking their minds about black/female/gay/trans/fat/foreign people, raising the question “if everyone thought like you, why would you be humiliated, get fired, lose friends for airing your feelings? If everyone is as prejudiced as you are yet somehow wants to maintain the elusion that they aren’t, wouldn’t they mouthe a few plattitudes to save face and pat your back for your maverick audacity in private?” Redditers are always aroused, you can’t mention sex or nudity on the larger subs without receiving reports on the states of their stiffening weenies, and if their comments are any indication they don’t or can’t believe that there are people who have different outlooks than they do, people who designate a time and place for sexual enjoyment and otherwise hardly think about it, who don’t have sexual desire at all, who have the desire for one person and don’t care to fantasize about anyone else, who can look at and interact with nudes without sexualising them. No, everyone must be masturbating to everything whenever they get the chance because that’s what I do and it’s impossible to be different.
