Yes, secularism is a bad thing. It's a subject that's more worthy of a book than a few sentences on a reddit comment. The tl;dr is that there no transcendent morality, right and wrong often becomes more on how one feels. It should go without saying that the majority of the worst totalitarian regimes and genocides of the past 100 or so years were secular. --- Actually, I just googled for something this is a concise yet still decent explanation.

It's not unreasonable to believe in a higher power, even if there's little to no evidence of it. Humans' brains are in fact wired for such belief. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe we still don't know where existence comes from.

Are you actually one of those weirdos that believe that the nonreligious are incapable of developing a moral code?

Wait, now I'm bested by Poe's Law once again. Are you actually serious or is this some sort of "Wouldn't it be funny if I used conspiratard logic to justify religion" performance art?

You're conflating secularism--a policy of separation of church and state, and religious tolerance--with secular humanism--the belief that religious morality is false and the uplifting of fellow man is the only basis for morality.
