If you're wondering about the backstory: a few months ago, a child on Twitter said that a comedian's job is to push the envelope, and that a comedian making jokes about rape doesn't necessarily support rape culture.

So naturally the SJW mob doxxed him and made fun of how he looked and made threats and generally acted like complete bully assholes.

The kid was pretty cool with it and acted infinitely more adult than any of the SJWs who were harassing him.

I'd post a pic of this harassment but last time I did I was shadowbanned, presumably for inciting a witch hunt against the people bullying a child.

I'm pretty sure the kid was 13, not 10 as stated by Red, but that's a nitpick and doxxing him was a special kind of awful either way.

Doxing makes you scum

Doxing someone under the age of 18 makes you a special kind of sxum

Nono. Doxing is just a tool. Doxxing for the wrong reasons makes you scum.

K..

Doxing is a thing that has many uses. It's been used to save lives, find missing people and solve many crimes. It can be used for bad things, but so can cars, and hammers and guns. They aren't inherently bad, but many people use them for bad things.

In a dank and sweaty room, somewhere in middle America, a huffing and puffing begins as the Tumblrina feels the stirring of outrage lust, the pounding of keys on a keyboard provides a staccato rhythm, building in frenzy.

Well an example was the guy who posted videos of himself torturing kittens. Idr if he got doxxed or caught by other means.

I wouldn't mind if someone beat him half to death, but that doesn't mean 'beating someone half to death' is a tool and not a crime.

You can do all those things without doxxing anyone though, it's why we have 'cyber crime' departments and such so you can tell them and THEY can do the doxxing.

Remember the Boston bomber thing...?

I have never once heard of a case where doxxing was used in a positive way. Care to enlighten me?

Take it a step further, assuming there have been positive doxxes. Can you prove that they've been used for positive measures more than negative? I bet you can't.

Speaking rather recently, there was a post of somebody on twitter that said they were going to kill their spouse, or something of the sort. Several people found where they lived, called local police and reported it.

These kinds of things happen all the time. Doxxing is a tool, that is quite often used for nefarious purposes, but isn't a nefarious tool in and of itself.

Consult the High Priestess on what makes you not-scum.
