Maybe people honestly don't pay attention. I am only subscribe to one youtube channel and i follow a local radio host on Vine. Some things are just not directed towards my age group, and therefore have no idea who those entertainers are!

"YouTube famous"? You're right, there's no difference at all... and to me, "YouTube famous" isn't a thing either. But that's fine. Reddit's demographic is pretty young, and some day I'll have to let go of this inherent response I have to think everything in pop culture is stupid. I don't want to repeat the closemindedness of our parents and grandparents and so on... although, God help me, it suddenly makes sense now. That's a terrifying thought.

No, because vine famous means "famous on vine", which I see no problem with. Still, what would be wrong with running up to them and doing what you described? I can guarantee you people would treat a famous youtube like Jenna Marbles that way. Actually, what makes doing that to a TV star any different? They're both famous because what they make "has a lot of views" after all? I really don't understand your problem with it.

I'm sure there are. No matter what you say, people will always disagree with you. Even so, that doesn't change that fact that most of the popular content on vine is catered toward teenage girls and other adolescents, and that a lot of people on vine are famous just because they are attractive or because they steal jokes from ifunny and 9gag.
