  • Patrick was very helpful during our entire stay. His home was lovely. There were 4 of us and Patrick provided 3 rooms for us, which in fact he could provide only 2. He also gave us the useful information on direction and places to eat around his place. Breakfast was wonderful and in generous proportion. We were very happy staying at his place.

  • We stayed for a few days with Patrick. We really felt as we were staying with a friend. Accomodation was perfect, we had 2 bathrooms. Patrick also give us some tips to visit, following his advise we ended up as Dutch Team in the monthly quizz at the local pub...... It was really nice here, and we definately recommend this address. Suitable to visit many interesting things within 45 minutes driving.!!!

  • We had a great time with Patrick and his wife Kitty, who both made us feel very welcome. A good place to stay to see the Cotswolds!

    June 2014
  • Patrick and Kitty were kind hosts, the room was nice and clean. We got rich breakfast and the maps, guides and hints of Patrick helped us.

Highworth was chosen because it has good accessibility. Although the region is not marked as highlight of Cotswolds, it is really beautiful (Highworth itself has a nice center the neighbouring Lechlade-on-Thames is also charming + some 13th century churches etc.). Worth to see, it is a nice village for a peaceful walk around, you will not see any tourist.

    We do recommend them.

  • We enjoyed staying with the O'Sheas. The location is excellent for visiting Oxford, and Patrick gave us tips that we used with pleasure about eating places and sights near the house. The breakfast was a treat too.

  • We had a great stay with Patrick and Kitty. They were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make us comfortable. (even letting us do laundry, and hanging it out for us so we could get a good start to our day). The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good and filling. This was our first experience with airibnb and we were thankful to have such a great experience. Patrick gives excellent value for the money.

    Response from Patrick:

Doing the Guests laundry is not general practice here and was done only as a favour.

  • Nice place and very friendly hosts. The house is in a nice part of town. Patrick and his wife were very friendly and guided us despite reaching late the first day. The breakfast was really nice and Patrick is very knowledgable about things to do in the area and helped plan our holiday.

There is sufficient parking should you drive to the place and the ensuite ensures privacy to guests. The fast free wifi is a nice bonus.

  • Absolutely lovely stay. Patrick was extremely friendly, gracious, and hospitable - I suggest that anyone staying in or traveling to the Cotswolds area stay at this location.

We lived in this house for 27 years. It is a very nice neighbourhood. I am a keen gardner, I grow all types of vegetables in my garden and I like the sumertime when the garden looks its best. I like to keep fit and I am a member of the local gym.I also enjoy cycling in the local countryside. The Greek Islands are our favourite holiday destination. My wife Kitty is a cook and is always looking out for new recipies to add to her collection. We have two rooms available, one is ensuite suitable for couples and the other has bunk beds suitable for children from 5 years old to 14.
