Subreddit Rules
1) Read and understand Reddiquette. It is the basic expectation of all members to abide by reddiquette at all times while contributing to this community.
2) If you think something contributes to conversation, upvote it. If you think it does not contribute to this subreddit or is off-topic, downvote it. Do not upvote or downvote based on username, post history or because you don’t like someone.
3) All posts must be related to the financial aspects of the game. Do not post your FNM decklists for consideration, try r/magicdeckbuilding, r/modernmagic, r/magictcg or /r/MTGLegacy
4) Please do not submit threads asking what you should do with a particular card or cards. This subreddit is not a price checking tool. To find the price of cards, use an online store such as TCG Player, StarCity Games or MTG Stocks.
5) Keep all trade or purchase requests to PMs, or the general trading thread on r/magictcg.
6) No witch-hunts, no trolling, no flaming. This subreddit is actively moderated and moderators will remove offending posts without discussion.
7) Search for similar discussions before posting a new thread. Popular cards are discussed often and in-depth, so the information you’re looking for might already be discovered. As we’re still a small community, people do get tired of discussing the same cards over and over again (shocklands, anyone?) so take the time to search for the information that is already there.
8) This is not a place to post pictures of cards you pulled, pictures of your collection or memes tangentially related to MTG or MTG finance. Such posts will be removed without discussion.
9) Comments that do not add anything to the discussion (for example comments complaining about downvotes, memes as top-level comments and arguing about non-Magic related topics) will be deleted.
10) Do not abuse other members: this includes mass-downvoting, insulting people’s intelligence, posting bigoted, racist, sexist or otherwise hateful remarks and anything else that can offend or hurt others. Members are encouraged to question others - that’s the whole point of the subreddit - but are expected to do it in a civil and reasonable manner. Again, this subreddit is actively moderated and moderators will remove offending posts without discussion.
Please, for the love of God, use the stickied thread for all simple questions.
