I used to do yoga when I was into competitive gaming. I found it to allow me to think more clearly. I did this as a warm up before gaming.

That's awesome that it helped you mentally as well. I've never done yoga, but it's yet another thing that I'd like to try. Yoga pants tho.... I know most women love them but I hate wearing them soooooo much. How did you go about learning? Classes? Youtube?

Edit: Woops. Said something too open that was inappropriate for here.

Youtube. I feel like you're just looking for attention with the naked yoga part. If you don't have a mat, you'll hate it, because whatever is on your floor will stick to you. I found yoga pants to be very comfortable, but sweat pants work fine as well.

If you search on youtube for any yoga video longer than 20 mins it might be ok. Be careful with the ones over an hour. I remember one woman doing pushups for over an hour straight for her yoga video. Also be careful with the beginners videos. I always feel like they were made for people over 300 lbs., even though some beginners are quite difficult.

Tons of people do yoga naked. It's a real thing. Just because you think it's too rude to say something about it, doesn't mean she's looking for attention. Don't be that person.

I mean seriously playing video games naked? Sure it's a thing...why tell everyone you're playing naked

[–]LizzipoosPC 2 ポイント3 ポイント

Why not? If it relates to the conversation at hand, why shouldn't you tell people? There's so many posts everywhere of people telling other people what they wear when they're gaming, especially when it comes to girls because "real gamer girls don't wear make-up and nice clothes when gaming durr" is a thing, so why not tell people you game naked?

She was talking about yoga and how she doesn't like yoga pants, and then mentioned naked yoga I assume, so it totally relates to what she was talking about.

Yeah, you assumed correctly, unedited the post was (edited part in italics): I know most women love them, and they make my butt look amazing, but I hate wearing them soooooo much. Maybe I'll try naked yoga since I'll be in the privacy of my own room. How did you go about learning?

Irregardless, thanks for coming to the aid, and I'm sorry for starting a silly argument in my own thread with someone who misconstrues everything. Sometimes you just can't escape The Body Police x)

Haha don't worry about it.

If you're serious about yoga, check out /r/yoga , it's got a sidebar full of helpful stuff :)

I'm new to reddit and didn't even think about looking for a yoga subreddit. Thanks for the awesome recommendation!

I don't know what to tell you except that I wasn't? XD I'm not overly attractive nor is there anybody but girls on this subreddit (right? new to it), I just thought it would be an okay thing to say but I guess it wasn't appropriate here. I didn't mean to be too open or seem attention seeking or make you uncomfortable or be inappropriate or anything, I apologize. I'll go edit it out. I find yoga pants and sweat pants both extremely uncomfortable. I do not like the tightness of yoga pants or the saggyness of sweat pants. Edit: I guess I could use my pajama shorts now that I think about it. Literally the only shorts I have.

But thank you for the information about the mat, and that youtube is a quality place to learn, and especially about video lengths I should look for. I plan to look into it.

There aren't just women who read this subreddit, but don't sweat it. Naked yoga is totally a thing and I don't think it's rude, inappropriate, or attention-seeking to mention it.

[–]bibliolaura[S] 0 ポイント1 ポイント

Thanks. c: Now there's more comments related to that though than the original topic x) I knew it was a thing which is why I thought it would be fine to mention it as an option since I would be in the privacy of my own room, but now I've started an argument in my own thread! Thanks for letting me know that it was fine to mention as an option though, thought I crossed a line in this subreddit.

Just because one person claims you're looking for attention , doesn't mean everyone else thinks so. honestly, I don't. Naked yoga is a thing, tons of people do it. I myself practice yoga every now and then, but not naked. I feel that when I get all sweaty things would get too slippery. Yogapants give much better grip when you're doing crow pose for example. (for me anyway). I tried doing yoga in shorts once and I didn't like it haha. I'm staying with the pants! (Plus, I love yogapants. Makes my butt look great!)

[–]bibliolaura[S] 1 ポイント2 ポイント

Yeah they definitely make my butt look great too, because they're so form fitting, but that's also the very same reason I don't like them. But who knows, I might try naked yoga and decide that I don't like it because of sweat and things getting too slippery and end up just dealing with yoga pants whilst I do yoga.

How old are you?

[–]bibliolaura[S] 0 ポイント1 ポイント

22 in a little over a month. Honestly, I didn't mean anything by that statement, I realize now that this isn't the place to be so overly open like that. Idk what I was thinking. I wasn't I guess. Edit: Basically, I forgot to put an appropriate barrier between what I think and what I type.

Edit2: Are you aware of any specific yoga things (idk what to call them? moves? workouts? positions?) that target the thighs? That's where I'm primarily trying to lose weight.
