First, they were never riots.

I stopped reading the thread there

Fire-bombings are a 'man-made disaster' and mere 'workplace violence' in the obama years.

The irony is that the Ferguson protests have been more violent than the Bundy Ranch protest could ever be. And yes, there were riots before an investigation could even start. Im not trying to excuse what the police officer did, because I found two witnesses who say he was shot in a more brutal manner than the police did (of course both contradict each other) but that doesn't excuse burning down and looting that have occurred near by, one has been peaceful the other has had elements of a riot. Amazing isn't it, when you don't have people in your group who do violent things, you don't look like violent people in the eyes of the public.

It's like the whole Tea Party = violent; occupy = good. Both are on the same side of the fight (Government overreach and military police are bad so we as people should stand up to them) the difference is the conservatives used their fifth amendment rights to stand up to them risking their own lives, and the liberals broke other people's stuff and profiteered by looting. But you know. . . conservatives are bad and stuff.

Besides, the wide-spread looting came in part because of the heavy-handed police response. When you point rifles at people from the top of tanks, they are going to start getting agitated and violent.

HAHAHAHA

"Your Honor, the police with their AK-47s and their T-72s and super spooky gas masks terrified me so much that I had to burn down that Quik Trip!"

Isn't GQ the male equivalent of Cosmopolitan?

[–]Zeppelin415Rethuglican [非表示スコア]

Esquire's worse. A while back Esquire published Charlie Peirce's article where he blamed 9/11 on the Republican congress who used a "fake scandal" to distract Clinton from catching Bin Laden.

Yes and it is every bit as progressive/liberal as cosmo.

There's no arguing with anti-Bundy people.

The Bundy ranch situation was the perfect boogeyman for people that have never worked livestock, owned land, live in the country side, or owned guns, to get mad about things they hardly understand while being fueled on the whole "conservatives = bad" mentality that leftist have in the US.

And then you have Europeans trying to voice their opinion it.

I'm just going to say I fully support the so-called militarization of police.

Cops in khaki uniforms and six-shooters are not a remedy for full on race riots.

It's hard to find anyone in the right regarding that situation.

There are idiots rioting and looting, and there are also asshole cops playing with military toys teargassing even peaceful protesters and journalists to dismantle their cameras.

No riots, no looting before police showed up to try and put down the rioting and looting that wasn't going on.
