The vast majority of people, however, do look at a person and make an immediate assessment. A judgment, if you will. First impressions mean a lot to us as humans - we're a pretty visual species. Just looking at an obese person (especially if they are young) can tell you that they have terrible eating habits, a lack of self-control, and are generally not very responsible since they cannot even take care of themselves. Nobody obsesses over anyone here unless you publicly make an ass out of yourself - then you get to make it to the front page as the joke of the day. Then again, you could say that about most of the Internet.

People seeking out this subreddit to make a half-assed statement, however, really aren't doing themselves or anyone else any favors. I wouldn't go stomping into a sports bar in full neckbeard attire and yell at everyone there because of their hobby, lounging all night drinking shitty beer or whatever and watching football. We're here to enjoy ourselves and have a good chuckle at fat people falling over/participating in typical fativities.
