  • Why is male privilege and white privilege so fucking hard for people to acknowledge they have? Being privileged does not necessarily mean you’re an intolerant, bigoted asshole, it means that you are not systematically oppressed based on your gender or color. But if you get really defensive when someone tells you to “check your privilege”, yeah, you probably are an intolerant, bigoted asshole.
