Staying friends with bigots without ever calling them out is enabling their discriminatory beliefs and sending them the silent message that you condone their bigotry.
Don’t be friends with misogynists.
Don’t be friends with homophobes.
Don’t be friends with fatphobes.
Don’t be friends with racists.
Don’t be friends with transphobes.
Don’t be friends with ableists.
Don’t be friends with people who reinforce discrimination and social hierarchy, no matter how casually.
Life is too short to be friends with people like that.
Do not reward bigots with your friendship.
