What. The. Fuck does that mean?

Oh, I know! Let's just deputize everyone in the city and give them a rader gun and a ticket book and let them pull each other over, am I right? If "the people" can write enough tickets to themselves, there would be "no net cost of resources", so we should all be cool with that!

I don't give a fuck if there's "no net cost of resources" to having CPS write tickets for 10 over late at night on an empty fucking highway. It's the principal of the idea.

What really pisses me off is that I'm sure you'd be 100% fine with CPS writing tickets for speeding, but I bet that you'd be fucking outraged if we took those cops writing speeding tickets and instead made them walk a beat looking for petty marijuana offenders, wouldn't you?

Fucking hypocrite. :/

Strawman much?

I never claimed that we should be writing more/less tickets, just that there's no net cost to the police force of doing so if the revenue is high enough.

There are plenty of good reasons to argue for fewer speeding tickets - but you can't argue both that it's a cash grab and that it's diverting resources from elsewhere. Either it's revenue positive (in which case resources aren't being diverted), or it's revenue negative (in which case it sure as hell isn't a cash grab).

Waaaa waaaa what a cry baby.

What happened to personal responsibility? Like, read the fucking sign with the speed limit on it and do that. Quit blaming the police for peoples inability to take responsibility for their actions.

Fucking hypocrite :/

"Personal responsibility" has exactly FUCK ALL to do with being able to interpert the little white numbers on randomly placed signs and drive as closely to that exact speed that the state is requiring you to.

Personal responsibility IS the ability to drive as quickly, or as slowly as you yourself deem necessasary to maximize the efficiency of your time on the road WITHOUT having to follow some arbitrary number on metal signs as determined by some un-elected slug-faced beurocrat in the city planning department.

I am absolutly not surprised that you're having a hard time with this.

/u/texas_south logic: People who speed are going to murder me, so this sounds like an excellent opportunity to waste resources.

Fuck, you're a moron

Lol dude, I'm pretty sure this unemployed neckbeard probably still has his mom do his laundry for him.

He's probably one of those guys who complains about entitled people, and then complains non-stop on his drive to work about how there isn't a traffic lane available for his exclusive use.
