Conspiracy isn't necessarily racist although we do discuss racially sensitive issues frequently. If you're easily offended you should probably consider staying away since we are dedicated to allowing civil discussion about any topic regardless of people's feels on the appropriateness of such topics being discussed.

This is confusing to many people who consider themselves to be social justice warriors as they would prefer that certain topics be forbidden. Frankly, you can't have a conspiracy subreddit that limits what subjects can be discussed. If there is a suspected conspiracy by old white men to shape the future by using their economic and political influence to disenfranchise black people, that needs to be discussed.

How we handle this need is to prohibit the use of any racial slurs or overtly derogatory descriptors in the discussion. This simultaneously allows racially sensitive issues to be discussed in a civil manner while avoiding the kind of language that causes communication to break down and rocks to be thrown.

It isn't perfect but its what we do, if you aren't mature enough to handle that kind of environment then there are tens of thousands of other subreddits you can visit.
