Is it just me, or do none of those lunches look particularly 'healthy'?

They meet the recommended caloric intake regulations.

Not if the kids don't eat vomit on a bun, or whatever the fuck that's supposed to be.

Looks like some type of bean with some sort of sauce. Even the bun looks bad.

I wouldn't eat any of the food pictured.

That green thing towards the bottom looks like someone wiped an elephant's ass with a watermelon rind.

I wonder what kind of lunches Michelle's daughters are eating.

Most of that sounds pretty good. When I was in school, there was no chef's choice, only the manager's choice, and they weren't planning african themed menu's. It consisted of them heating up the big slab of frozen pizza we normally had on fridays.

I think this is an indictment of the schools for interpreting the regulations as: oh so we should serve the kids the same crap but less of it. It is not hard to make a healthy meal, these people do this for a living!

Stupid kids don't know that school lunches have been shitty as long as anybody remembers.

These look much worse than the school lunches I had.

They look much better than the ones I had...

Every Wednesday, Nacho day, Doritos, shredded lettuce and some mystery meat. Occasionally an apple. That was in 2000

Yeah, your mileage may vary, but Obama didn't ruin something good, that's for sure.
